Exfoliation is the key to healthy moisturized skin!
It’s important to remove dead skin prior to applying moisturizer. Otherwise, the moisturizer won’t penetrate through the skin and will just sit on top of dead skin, doing you no favors.
A good exfoliation about once a week is helpful for removing dead skin so that the body butter can penetrate deeper in your skin.
Not only do my organic sugar scrubs exfoliate, but it has a built in moisturizer too, all in one! This is not recommended for the face, as a gentler more fine sugar scrub is what I would recommend for the face, but for the rest of your body-this is your scrub!
